Congratulations to Barry O'Sullivan from Thurles who picked up the prize of €1500 in Thurles Shopping Centre yesterday! Barry got there at the last minute by spinning a grand total of 90 points out of a possible total of 100 points on our prize wheel. Terry Burke set the early pace with a total of 75 points before being edged out by Margaret Murphy on 78. Then Helen Carroll spun 86 and looked like she was going to be walking away with a Mediterranean Cruise but Barry O'Sullivan swooped in in dramatic fashion to grab the cash at the last minute!
Barry told us afterwards, with a wry smile, that his significant other had already decided how they are going to spend the money but we're sure Barry will get something nice from whatever is left over!
We'd like to thank everyone who turned up on the day and for all we'll have more great competitions for you soon from Thurles Shopping Centre.
20/08/10 Cash Cruise Car Competition
We will be giving away €1500 in Cash tomorrow, or maybe a Cruise, or maybe a weekend in a Castle! Everyone that has been selected for the final round has now been contacted and registration opens at 1:00 tomorrow. We'll have plenty of consolation prizes too so you won't be too disappointed if you don't win the big prize!
20/08/10 Spuds and Spoons
TippFM are really starting to settle in to their pod in Thurles Shopping Centre. Every Thursday Fran, Ian and Shiela take over the mall centre and broadcast fun to the county. Over the last couple of months they've given away golden tickets, match tickets, cinema tickets, gift vouchers from lots of the great shops in Thurles Shopping Centre and a whole lot more. We've had interviews with great bands and great people and plenty more to come down the line.
Despite all of the great guests and prizes the biggest buzz seems to be saved for the good old-fashioned, TippFM Egg (Spud!) and Spoon race! We had another one yesterday and you can watch it here now. Congratulations to Ciaran who won his mother Anne a €50 voucher for George Lang!

03/08/2010 New Shop Opening Tomorrow!
Holland & Barrett are the latest store to open in the new section of Thurles Shopping Centre.
Holland & Barrett are Europe's leading retailer of vitamin, mineral and health supplements and they are another welcome addition to Thurles Shopping Centre. Their shop opens tomorrow (Wednesday August 4th) and their will be loads of special offers and and entertainment all day long.
Beautician service now available in George Lang Hair Salon
There is a new face in George Lang Hair Salon this week as they welcomed Emma to their team. Emma is a fully qualified beauty therapist will be doing everything from spray tan to waxing and and plenty of pampering too!

The Cash, The Cruise, or The Castle
To be in with a chance to win in our latest competition simply pick up an entry form in any of the shops in Thurles Shopping Centre, right now! All you have to do is decide which prize you'd like!
We have three boxes in the centre. If you want the cash (it seems most people do!) then you pop your completed entry form in that box, or if you want the cruise you place your form in the cruise box, easy!
The closing date for entries is August 14th 2010 and the draw will take place in Thurles Shopping Centre on August 21st. You can pick up entry forms in any of our shops right now!
Every week we'll be picking ten people from each entry box (Cash, Cruise and Castle) to go through to the final draw, so you need to work on your strategy to make sure you have the best chance of getting through to the final!

10/06/10 Longer Opening Hours in Thurles Shopping Centre
Just as the days are getting longer for the summer, so too are our opening hours. We are now open until 10PM on Thursday and Friday night. We are also open at 10AM on Sunday morning. See you there, bright and early!
